Electrical Panel Assembly and Installation

The panel is where all the wiring in a property comes together, and where every lighting and outlet circuit is controlled from. We build panels from scratch, replace outdated ones, and add breakers or RCDs to an existing panel to handle increased load.

What's included

  • Calculating and selecting breakers and RCDs/RCBOs for each circuit's load
  • Assembling and mounting the panel enclosure, wiring circuits inside
  • Labeling breakers by circuit: lighting, outlets, appliances
  • Replacing old panels with fuse-style protection or outdated breakers
  • Adding an extra breaker or RCD to an existing panel without a full rebuild
  • Testing the panel under load after assembly

When you need this

  • The panel has old fuses or breakers with no circuit labels
  • A renovation is planned that will add outlets and lighting circuits
  • The panel is physically worn: the enclosure is cracked, contacts have blackened
  • You need to add an RCD or breaker but there's no room left
  • You bought a property and the panel's condition raises questions

How the work is done

Inspecting the current panel and incoming cable, calculating load per circuit
Selecting breakers and RCDs/RCBOs, drawing up a layout
Mounting or replacing the enclosure, wiring circuits inside
Labeling circuits and testing operation under load

Pricing

ServicePrice
Small panel assembly, up to ~12 modules (equipment not included)from 10,000 KZT
Complex panel (quoted after inspection/layout)from 20,000 KZT
Breaker installation, no panel rebuild (unit)from 2,500 KZT
RCD/RCBO installation, no major panel rebuild (unit)from 4,500 KZT

The price for a small panel doesn't include the cost of breakers, RCDs, or other equipment. For a complex panel or full replacement, the final cost is quoted after inspecting the site and the wiring layout.

Panel space is always planned with headroom: even if you only need 8-10 breakers right now, a 12-16 module enclosure means a circuit can be added later without replacing the whole panel.

Circuits should be grouped by purpose during assembly — lighting separate from outlets, separate again from heavy appliances. This makes fault-finding easier and reduces the risk that one overloaded line cuts power to the entire property. An RCD or RCBO on the incoming supply is recommended — a separate layer of protection against electric shock that complements breakers rather than replacing them.

A small 10-12 module panel can be assembled from 10,000 KZT, not including equipment. For more complex cases — a large house, multiple supplies, higher loads — the price is only confirmed after inspection and a layout calculation, from 20,000 KZT.

Completed work carries a warranty of up to 3 years.

Frequently asked questions

How many breakers does an apartment panel need?

Usually there's a separate circuit for lighting per room, for outlets, for the kitchen, and for high-power appliances — a stove, washing machine, AC. The exact count is determined on site.

Can a panel be replaced without cutting power to the whole building?

In an apartment with its own supply, a short power cut during the work is usually enough. Timing is agreed in advance.

How much does assembling a panel cost?

A small panel up to 12 modules, not including equipment, starts from 10,000 KZT. A complex panel that needs a layout calculated and equipment selected for several circuits and higher loads is quoted separately, from 20,000 KZT.

Does the whole panel need replacing if one breaker burns out?

Not necessarily — if the enclosure and the other breakers are fine, replacing just the burnt-out breaker is usually enough, from 2,500 KZT for installation without rebuilding the panel.

Can an electrician come at night if the panel is sparking or smells of burning?

Yes, the team works 24/7 — a sparking panel or a smell of burning is exactly the kind of situation that calls for an emergency visit, billed at the higher rate, from 6,000 KZT.
